Aleksandar Jovčić was born in 2006 in Vršac, Serbia. He graduated from the “Josif Marinković” Music School in Vršac, where he studied in the class of Prof. Ana Šinković. During his elementary music education, he received the award for Student of the Generation. After completing his secondary music education, he continued his studies with Prof. Ivan Veljković. He is currently a first-year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, studying in the class of Prof. Jelena Jovanović Petrović.
Throughout his education, he actively participated in masterclasses with distinguished pedagogues, including Radojka Ivanović, Valentina Nenasheva, Aisa Ijiri, Maiko Mori, and Sergei Osipenko.
As a soloist, he has performed in concert venues in Vršac (Vršac National Theatre, Concordia Museum, Millennium Center), Belgrade (Museum of Theatre Arts of Serbia), and Timișoara (Ion Vidu Arts High School).
He has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, among the most notable being: Laureate of the Alma Cornea Ionescu International Competition in Romania (2018), First Prize at the Davorin Jenko International Competition (2019), First Prize at the Clara Peia International Competition in Romania (2019), Second Prize at the Davorin Jenko International Competition (2022), and First Prize at the International Competition of Young Pianists in Šabac (2026).
In addition to his solo concert activities, Aleksandar is highly active in chamber music performance, achieving outstanding results with chamber ensembles, including a First Prize at the Serbian National Competition in 2021.
